We started looking for a home while we were in Germany and then a friend of mine recommended Mrs. Parks and gave her our email address. She contacted me immediately and followed up with us on a regular basis. We were first time buyers, so of course we were a little shaky about the whole process. Once we finally made it to Fayetteville, I gave Latonia a call and I informed her that we had a crying two year old that we haven't seen in a year and asked if she can handle it. A word to anyone looking for a Realtor:
My relationship with Latonia started with one query (and I mean one query) on a home I saw on a web site; (I had already had a realtor but they did not seem interested enough). When Latonia wrote me back that was the beginning...everyday we communicated and never once did she sound like she was being bugged by me. Even when I sent my girls to Fayetteville to meet with her and to look at homes she was just as eager and willing although they were just children (21, 16, 12). I must say I bought my home without physically seeing it and my girls did not see it either. We received many (and I mean many) photographs of our home from Latonia. Latonia went above and beyond her call of duty. The first time I saw my home was the day I closed on it...Latonia took care of all the details including ripping and running all over the place for me since I work in Iraq and we had never even met before. My girls and I stayed in our new home that weekend and it was a really beautiful feeling even though we did not have any furniture in the home except for the TV, the air mattresses and covers that Latonia loaned us so we could be somewhat comfortable. My appliances for the home were white and I did not think they looked good so I wanted something different (maybe stainless steel or black). Latonia took me looking for appliances and then even helped me decide on the ones that were finally chosen. She took me to look at furniture since I was going to be buying a bedroom set for one of my girls...really and truly she did not have to do that but she did and never once did I ever get the feeling that she did not want to be there. If you choose her you will be very pleased...over the past few months other than being my realtor she has become my friend and confidant...God has indeed blessed me, I am so very happy she walked into our lives.

We are writing to express our complete satisfaction with LaTonya Parks as our realtor. I must first say, due to previous experiences I already had a distrust for realtors, so LaTonya was at a disadvantage from the start. However, at the very first meeting she provided an honest opinion about what would be required not only by her, but also on our part to sale our home. She didn’t promise things that she could not produce, nor did she sugar coat the process simply to get our business. In addition to the declining real estate market, plummeting economy, LaTonya also had to deal with the fact that we wanted to list our house during the Christmas season. Yet with all these challenges, she came up with creative ways to list our home and we had more showing during the month of December than either one of us expected.
There was no doubt that LaTonya took a personal interest in the selling of our home and when a buyer was attempting to take advantage of the declining real estate market and “low ball” us, LaTonya firmly and honestly explained to us that with patience we would get a much better offer. Sure, she could have suggested we take the offer and made a quick commission, but instead she took a personal interest in what was best for us as the client and within 40 days our home sold for a price that was closer to what we expected.
LaTonya went above and beyond not only what was expected, but also what was required. Throughout the entire process LaTonya was professional, conscientious, and motivated. She worked around our schedule and there were times when we felt as though we were her only clients.

When we decided to look into purchasing a home, we didn’t really know exactly where to start. So, with the recommendation of family and friends, we drove to the area of town that we wished to purchase a home to see if there were any that would interest us. Let me just say that Latonia is by far, the best realtor I have ever had. I am a first time homebuyer and finding the right realtor was important to me. I thought I had found great ones before, but it seemed like when something went wrong, they weren't around anymore, wouldn't even pick up their phones or call me back when I had a question. So I was hesitant to jump right back into the homebuying process. But Latonia is different. She knows what people want in a home and she even took the time to get to know me and my family. Everytime I had a question, whether by email, phone or text, she would get back to me so quick I didn't think it was even possible. And after we bought the home she still keeps in touch to ask how everything is doing. She even took time out of her day to come visit me and my family and drop off a housewarming gift.
